Organización Bimbo, a subsidiary of Grupo Bimbo, opened a baking facility in the city of Tijuana, Baja California with an investment of over US$30 million.

This plant will generate approximately 250 direct jobs with product lines including white, whole wheat and sweet breads and corn "tostadas".

The new product lines will supply, via 226 routes, the markets of Tecate, Tijuana, Ensenada, San Quintín and in the future, will also supply Grupo Bimbo's products to the state of California in the United States.

The creation of this plant is in response to the growing needs of the region and the important potential in this area, thus enabling the Company to offer its thousands of customers and consumers products that comply with the strict quality and service requirements established by the Company.
