The former of these two plants is a chocolate producer located in Vienna, Austria and was opened on April 11. The latter, a chewing gum facility is located in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

Both business units will employ 104 people, 32 in Vienna and 72 in Ostrava. These plants, with a combined asset value of US$30 million, will be fully integrated into the Company's operations via its Park Lane subsidiary, which has been operating since 1998 with headquarters in Boizenburg, Germany.
